Andrew at your service

inthecornerinternMeet Andrew Hunt. Cool name (sorta sounds like a spy from a Clancy novel, doesn’t it?) for a cool dude. He’s our newest intern, and despite our best efforts of not allowing him to make eye contact or any verbal communication for a week (hey, at least we’re not selling him), he’s got a few things he wants to say…

“What’s up world?  Andrew Hunt here, the newest intern extraordinaire at the Switch, with a little inside info about myself.  Born and raised in the Lou, I now go to the University of Tulsa.  I’ll be a senior and will graduate with a degree in marketing in the spring.  Needless to say, I can’t wait to be done with school.  If you think that Chicago is the Windy City, you’ve obviously never been to Tulsa.  The monotonous Oklahoma plains pose no obstacle for relentlessly brutal winds, year round!  I love music.  When it comes to listening to music I’m all about variety.  Right now, my favorite bands/artists are the Friendly Fires, Chester French, and lil Wayne.  That’s right, I put lil Wayne.  The man is a lyrical G!  My other newest hobby is working on my car, a 1967 Ford Mustang.  She’s a beaut.  There’s no better feeling than cranking the windows down and just rollin’.  All in all, I plan on doing one thing during my stay at Switch, kicking ads and taking names. Boo-yah!”

Boo-yah? That’s how you’re going to end your first communication to “the world”? Go stand in the corner. No. No. We would never do that. If he stood in the corner all day, he couldn’t help us brainstorm.

Ah, the unbridled/unjaded enthousiasm of an advertising newbie. Gotta love it. So boo-yah it is, Andrew. Boo-yah it is. Now, get back to your corner, intern.
