CHA: Catholic Health Assembly

The Catholic Health Association of the United States is dedicated to serving the nation’s Catholic health care organizations and supporting the strategic directions of mission, ethics and advocacy.

CHA convenes an annual assembly of leaders from the Catholic Health Ministries across the United States. The theme of the 2010 Assembly, “Forging Our Future, Strengthening the Ministry Through Turbulent Times “, spoke to the on-going issues facing the health care industry. This theme also served as an inspiration for attendees and non-attendees throughout the CHA system.

The annual CHA Assembly draws an audience of more than 1,000 executives, governance leaders, and religious women and men who sponsor Catholic health care organizations across America.

Switch took cues from the meeting theme as the inspiration for the dramatic opening and scenic design. Using custom-lit beaded panels, vertical screens and multiple projection techniques, the designs were flexible enough to accommodate liturgical services, general sessions and banquet dinner events. Always understated, yet visually stunning, the “look” evolved and transformed with each presentation.
