Digital Outdoor Program / Budweiser New Year’s Eve in Times Square

Shining high above the crossroads of the world, Switch makes sure Budweiser looks every part the King of Beers.

This past New Year’s Eve, Budweiser didn’t just roll content on a high profile LED billboard, the brand engaged a live, captive audience in Times Square throughout the day. Viewers and revelers were able to interact with the billboard by responding to Q&A content via texts. The 40′x70′ board led the crowd in celebrating New Year’s Eve in major cities across the globe. Interactive games reinforced Budweiser’s message and kept them at the forefront of the celebration.

The brand’s social camaraderie came to life via modules featuring event goers enjoying Budweiser in local bars and celebrating in the street. This content was refreshed throughout the evening, allowing consumers to see themselves and their friends larger than life on the board.
