A Day Without Cars: Open Streets St. Louis 2011

The City of St. Louis is holding their second year of Open Streets events in October 2011. Open Streets is a free community event that transforms five miles of City streets into a continuous City block free from cars for cyclists, pedestrians and everyone else to enjoy. Participating sponsors will be providing healthy living activities and services ranging from yoga and zumba classes to bike repair.

There will be two events this year:

October 8th: The streets of Old North St. Louis will be blocked off from 9am – 1:30pm for food trucks, live music and more.

October 29th: The second route will showcase The Grove area of St. Louis from 3pm – 9pm with additional activities for Halloween.

Switch has been fortunate enough to design the art for Open Streets for the second year in a row. Check out the promotional poster, flyer and leaflet below.
